2019 Coaches of Character and Honor Award goes to Lester Maldonado
“Each year, the Orange County Athletic Director’s Association (OCADA) recognizes coaches from around Orange County that demonstrate strong character and integrity in coaching. I am honored to announce boys varsity soccer coach Lester Maldonado as Troy High School’s 2019 Coaches of Character award recipient. Both in the classroom and on the field, Lester exemplifies leadership characteristics, such as discipline, integrity and commitment. Last year his boy’s soccer team earned a spot in the CIF Division 4 Finals and a spot in the California Division 4 State Finals. Congratulations to Coach Maldonado for this tremendous honor!”

The award was given to Coach Maldonado at the OCADA Fall Awards Dinner on September 30, 2019 at the Anaheim Convention Center.
